Fuller Park Edmonton

Fuller Park is in Edmonton, south of Cairns in tropical Far North Queensland. The park has a range of unique features and community facilities.

The park is located in Wolff Street in Edmonton. Firstly, there is a sporting field, BMX/Skate facilities and a basketball court. In addition there is an off-lead dog walking area and public toilets.

Located on the south side of Wolff Street, the park is bounded on the south by Collinson Creek. In addition, this park is close to nearby bus stops in Cattle Street and Mt Peter Road, which are well serviced by buses.

Improvements

The park has a number of improvements. Consequently, these include BMX facilities, playground equipment and an off lead area for dogs. There is also a full size basketball court.

Fuller Park Child’s Play

Indeed this park has a lot to offer children of all ages. Firstly there is play equipment for younger children. There is no shade cloth, but large trees nearby do provide shade at different times of the day.

The BBX facilities are very popular with older children, especially during school holidays.

Fuller Park Off-Lead Dog Area

Located on the site of the former Edmonton swimming pool, this space is now a designated off-lead dog park. So if your dog can be spooked by loud noises and lots of activity, consider using a fenced off-leash area like this one. However, make sure you also respect others who are also using the dog park.

Cenotaph

The Cenotaph is the spiritual home of the Edmonton RSL. So it is very important to the local veteran community. Indeed the Dawn Service every Anzac Day is always well supported by the local community.

Fullers Club

Located in the heart of South Cairns. The multi award winning Fuller Sports  Club is the hidden gem of South Cairns, located just off the Bruce Highway in Edmonton.

Fullers Club is often referred to as Fuller Sports. The site was previously occupied by the Edmonton Bowls Club and bowls is still played there.
